Voice: Hello, could I speak

to the person in charge of the long distance services?
 

Me: Speaking.
 

Voice: Hello I'm with the Cheaper Long Distance

Telephone Service and we'd like to ...
 

Me: (breaking in):

Uh, we don't have any telephones.
 

Voice: (long pause) What do you mean,

you don't have any phones?
 

Me: Oh, that's the Etherial Wave.

 
 

Voice: (long pause) Excuse me?

 
 

Me: Sure,

haven't you heard about the Etherial Wave?
 

Voice: No, I can't say that I have.

 
 

Me: Well, you should.

It's very cool. It allows me to talk to you without the use of long distance services or even telephones.
 

Voice: (long pause) Okay,

then how are you talking to me now?
 

Me: Your voice

just appears out of the speaker of my computer.
 

Voice: No way!

You still have to have a long distance carrier.
 

Me: Nope, not at all.

This all comes over the internet with a local call. No telephones, no long distance service, no wires. It's all wireless. It's er, uh, very Etherial
 

Voice: (breathing)

Uh, uh... (doesn't know what to say)
 

Me: (continuing)

Hey you need to get with it.

Then you'll understand that people like me have got more important things to do than hold a stupid conversation with telemarketing calls like this hoping to sell me something I don't need nor want...
 

Voice: (nothing)
