I agree 100% with your thoughts on web related issues. I've had the pleasure of experiencing the crap that exists on the web these days and am thoroughly confounded on how we (the public) have learned to accept less than what we deserve for our money and time.
... On reflection, maybe we ARE getting what we deserve. It all reminds me of the typical insurance agent working on a tight budget and 100% commission. Get the sale, worry about the support later.
... My christmas wishes for year 2000 (i'm tired of y2k -- I'd like to choke the guy who came up with that) is for all the "professionals" in the newsgroups to turn around in their office chairs and get back to work. For all the people so excited about anything they're pissing on their shoes -- NO, I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANOTHER WHITE FRINGED TRANSPARENT GIF or FLASH MOVIE.
... Owning pirated copies of Photoshop and Dreamweaver does NOT make you a web designer.
... Hello?! For all those artists out there to understand that the human eye has been only slightly overused as a design element. For all the web surfers that sit down, crank up their favorite search engine and think longer than 10 seconds about what their going to search for today --
... GO MOW THE LAWN, talk to your CHILDREN, tell your spouse you LOVE THEM, and get some therapy.
