60 Second Windows - Gates Under Fire

#102
Gates Under Fire

Last week, James V. Grimaldi posted his comments: "Gates on video is a Microsoft horror show" to the Seattle Times Washington bureau's News Line describing the court proceedings surrounding a 20-hour videotaped deposition taken by government prosecutors pursuing the antitrust case against Microsoft.

It would seem that eventhough Microsoft has lead hundreds of thousands of computer users down the treacherous trail to Explorer, U.S. District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson is not so easily fleeced. Grimaldi highlights Jackson scolding Microsoft attorney John Warden: "I think your problem is with your witness, not with the way in which his testimony is being presented."

Gates thinks the lawsuit is total nonsense, and in reading the account by Grimaldi, one is convinced that Gates either has a killer ace up his sleeve that will pull this out of the toilet, or else he is blinded by MS rosy colored glasses -- still thinking he owns the world. Well, maybe he does.

Jump out and read that story. You'd have to wonder if Gates has been taking testimony lessons from Clinton! ( Or perhaps it's the other way around!)
